Mark Holdaway
Managing Director & Co-founder

Mark's career in B2B marketing spans more than 25 years, focussed on mixed signal semiconductors in which time he has instigated many product developments. In the mid 90s he helped define the LM1205, a multi-million unit selling industry standard video pre-amp for CRT displays (remember them)?

In the late 1990s he initiated early customer dialog on CMOS image sensors at National Semiconductor that culminated in the earliest cellphone applications including the first camera attach accessory (Ericsson's MCA25 Communicam).

Mark, moved to Munich in 1993 where he has gained a broad and international marketing management experience. In 2005 he joined the innovative data converter start-up, Xignal, where he helped identify their first million dollar opportunities. More recently, he made major strategy contributions to Intersil’s re-invented automotive business. 

Primarily a strategic marketing specialist Mark still remains in touch with his inner engineer and is known for his drive, passion and energy and a strong commitment to innovation.

Marco Fornaro
​Chief Delivery Officer

Marco is a 20+ years veteran of the Telecommunication and Software industry and an Enterprise specialist. In this time he has collaborated directly or as a contractor on software development , RF network planning and optimisation, ITC technical consulting, project management, IT strategy consulting and system administration. Marco enjoys working in challenging international environments, with leading edge technologies and high performance teams.

The Marketing Works is Marco's second foray into the start-up world. Between 200 to 2004 he held the position of CTO at Netdish S.p. A  Whilst there, Marco single handedly defined and developed the software code for the company's wireless and streaming video platform. The code base was called FORNYX and was legally registered recognising Marco as its originator and developer.

Marco has been supporting The Marketing Works since October 2015 and is in charge of all technical operational aspects associated with service delivery. This includes technology infrastructure, specifying technical needs, code development along with resource planning and allocation.

Stuart Cording
Co-founder and Advisor

Stuart, has two decades experience in the electronics industry, over ten of those earned working in semiconductors. He has been involved with embedded processors from the outset of his career with stints at National Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, Microchip and most recently Atmel. An electronic engineer by training he's spent much of his career in customer facing engineering roles. 

Stuart is well respected by his peers for his technical achievements and is recognised for his passion and creativity. In his sales activities he has achieved significant sales growth and gained valuable experience across a broad range of industries. 

Stuart cites that his expertise lies in the fields at the intersection between embedded processor applications, professional training and business development. He's the primary inspiration for the implementation of The Bench. Stuart is a keen programmer and will turn his hands to pretty much any engineering task. Perhaps, rather surprisingly for such a hands-on engineering guy, he's a rather good communicator in both his native English and German!
